The Bar of Soap is our re-interpretation of the classic Mini Simmons with a more performance twist. It’s designed for surf in the 1ft - 4 ft range. It really catches every ripple and the wide tail is ideal to fly though flat sections in mushy surf. It generates speed effortlessly, but feels solid and reliable on the bottom turn with heaps of release off the top. Slight entry vee into double concave, which blends into a double channel for extra hold (channels normally recommended for a twin fin set up), domed deck and balanced shortboard rails. It is well suited to be ridden either as a twin keel or as a quad. The Bar of Soap is one of our favourite designs and we would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a fast little groveller to fly on the smaller days.
